Hi there! We are planning a trip over Christmas break and have a 2 year old who will be 3 the following month and a 7 month old. Where is the best place to stay that he will enjoy? I want this to be an exciting experience for him and am so unsure.

    Hi Elizabeth,

It sounds like you are planning a truly magical vacation! Any of the resorts you choose to call home will be exciting for your little one. Holiday vacation time can be a bit crowded. If possible, I would choose a resort that has the easiest transportation, so that you can get back and forth relatively quickly for naps. Polynesian Resort is a family favorite. The rooms are large, there is a fun restaurant with character dining, and there's even a beach where the little ones can play in the sand (swimming is not allowed). The pool has a zero depth entry, although in December it might be a little to cold for swimming.

If Polynesian is out of your budget, consider going big and colorful. The value resorts, although not as convenient transportation-wise, are super kid friendly. The Art of Animation Studios are beautiful, and Pop Century is super fun with its larger than life icons.

Animal Kingdom Lodge is another deluxe resort that I recommend if your child loves animals. It's worth the extra money to get a room with a savannah view. You'll wake up to a beautiful view of animals practically outside your window.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
