Planning a trip to CARS LAND. I hear that the RSR lines are 2+ hours. If i wait in line, can my husband and children go onto other rides while i wait, and then come back in 1.5 hours and join me in line? or must we all stand in the line for 2 hr?

    Hi, Lisa!

I’m glad to hear that you’re planning a trip to experience Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park! This new land features three exciting attractions and is sure to get your engines running.

Radiator Springs Racers is a thrilling auto attraction that includes some favorite locations and characters from the movie Cars. It is indeed very popular and can have a long stand-by queue at certain times of the day. All persons riding the attraction should wait in the queue together; however, there are ways to reduce the wait time for your whole family. This attraction offers Disney FASTPASS Service, which allows you to enjoy it with a greatly reduced wait time—often 30 minutes or less. The best plan is to obtain a FASTPASS for the attraction immediately after park opening. The FASTPASS line for Radiator Springs Racers currently forms outside Carthay Circle Restaurant.  If you plan to stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, you may be able to take advantage of early entry, which is even better! Once your family has their FASTPASSes, you’re free to enjoy the rest of the park until returning to the attraction at the designated time. Be sure that getting the FASTPASSes is your first priority, because they have been known to run out within 90 minutes of park opening. Another option to enjoy the attraction with a shorter wait is to enter the stand-by queue just before park closing.

Enjoy your action-packed ride through Ornament Valley and Radiator Springs—it’s an adventure not to be missed!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
