Planning a trip from August 7 through August 17. We will be at Disney World 8/7-8/14. We will be on a Disney cruise 8-14/8/17. We are not staying at a Disney resort, but will purchase park hoppers. Can we get a Magicband (fast pass+) for both land and sea?

Welcome aboard, John! You are planning my favorite type of Disney vacation: a land and sea adventure!
My family loves to enjoy the parks at the Walt Disney World resort before (or after) we relax and play at sea on a Disney cruise!

MagicBands are wonderful, easy ways to make navigating the parks stress-free! I loved my first experience with them, and I'm sure your family will too. Once you head out to sea with Disney Cruise Line, however, you will not be using MagicBands. Each Disney Cruise Line guest receives a Key To The World Card which will serve as your room key and charge card for everything onboard and at Castaway Cay, as well as your photography card for all those pictures your family will have taken onboard. Perhaps one day in the future we'll see MagicBands at sea too, but right now, the Key To The World Card is what will be used onboard, John.

I hope that information helps as you continue to plan this exciting trip! You still have quite a bit of time before you set out to the parks and to sea, so please feel free to stop back with any other questions you have before then! Happy planning!
