Hi, we are planning a trip for April to Disney and the fast passes are almost all gone. My daugther suffers from anxiety and im affriad with the long wait times she could have an episode. Does Disney do anything for people with this type of disability?

    Hi Leonardo,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am glad to hear that you are busy making Fast Pass+ selections and understand that you may need some additional assistance for your daughter.

We have found the Services for Guests with Disabilities Guide to be quite helpful as we navigate the park with my husband who has a mobility disability. Since my husband cannot tolerate long wait times, we particularly love the Disability Access Service. When we arrive to our first theme park, we simply stop by Guest Relations and register him for the service. This service allows us to request return times for rides so that we do not have to wait in the stand-by line. A cast member in Guest Relations will confirm how many people can ride with your daughter using this service.

The service functions a lot like Fast Pass+ except that you must request the return time for the ride at the entrance to the ride or attraction. After we have him registered, we stop by an attraction that we would like to experience, approach a cast member at the entrance, explain that we have Disability Access Service and request a return time for the ride. Although anyone in the family can request the return time, when you return, your daughter must scan in for the ride first.

Leonardo, we have also been able to use this service in addition to Fast Pass+. So we typically make our Fast Pass+ selections for morning times, then, in between those times, we will go request a return time for an additional attraction. It truly has changed the way we vacation because my husband can enjoy every attraction with us now!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
