planning a trip for 4 adults and one infant (11 monthl\s old) and trying to decide between port orleans french quarter and pop century. can you give me the pros and cons of each. is port orleans worth the extra money? will be getting two rooms..

    Hi Janet,

It's funny that you ask that question because I recently had to decide between Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Port Orleans Resort French Quarter for a school trip.  While French Quarter was a bit more expensive, it was definitely worth the extra money.

I love Disney's Pop Century Resort.  It is colorful, fun, and has a great food court.  However, the rooms at French Quarter have more floor space, more plush bedding, a coffee maker, and a second sink in the bathroom.  These added amenities are wonderful especially if you have two or more guests staying in the room.  Disney's Port Orleans Resort French Quarter also offers direct boat service to Downtown Disney and is more compact than Disney's Pop Century Resort.  That means less walking for you between your room and the bus stop.  Those extra footsteps add up over the course of your vacation.

Good luck with your decision between resorts.  Let us know if you need any additional advice as you plan your magical Disney escape.
