Planning trip for 2ad. 3 kids(3-12)in May.Want cheap room since most of the time will be spent in the parks. Should we book POR trundle bed room or 2 value resort rooms which seem cheaper than suites. Will kids like themeing of POR or value resorts best?

My guess is that your children would probably prefer the theming at the value resorts over that of Port Orleans Riverside, Gina.  That is not to say that Port Orleans Riverside is a shabby resort by any means; it's one of my favorites!  In my experience, though, kids really respond to the larger-than-life features present at the value resorts.  This past June, my now eighteen-year-old daughter visited the new Art of Animation Resort for the first time and she came home telling me how much she would have loved to stay there when she was younger.  That is coming from a girl who has stayed at a variety of Disney's finest resorts, including the flagship Grand Floridian!  Mom and Dad might appreciate the amenities of the moderate resorts a bit more, but if you're aiming to really wow the kiddos, my vote would be for the value resort.  Enjoy!
