We are planning our tip for Jan. 2017. We will be traveling with to kids and an infant. My questions has to do with the parks trams that take you to and from the park entrances. Can I keep my infant in her car seat on this?

    Hey there, Shelley!

Thanks so much for visiting with the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

When traveling with little ones that require a car seat, securing them on the Disney busses, boats, and Monorail, are not permitted. The Walt Disney World complimentary transportation system does not have a way to secure child safety seats.

When we traveled with our little ones, we felt safe allowing them to sit in our laps. We would often choose seats on Disney's Magical Express motorcoach, near the middle of the bus so that another seat was in front of us to help provide a little extra protection and security.

Riding the transfer busses, ferries, and boats, for getting to the parks and Disney Springs and back to your resort are different from the Magical Express bus. Strollers are permitted on this type bus, but you will need to fold the stroller before boarding.

When riding the Monorail, there is plenty of room for your little one to board while in their stroller. So no need to take them out of the stroller and fold it!

I hope this gives you a little bit more detail about the transportation system at Walt Disney World. If you have more questions before your vacation, please visit with us again soon!

    Happy planning!
