We are planning on taking a trip to Disney in a couple months and we were just wondering if any one knew the price ranges on strollers per day or if was better off bringing our own stroller

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kara!

This is a great question, and it's one whose answer depends on a few details.

First, the current rate for stroller rentals at Walt Disney World is $15 per day for a single/$31 per day for a double. Should you choose a multi-day rental (length of stay), that daily rate drops to $13 for a single/$27 for a double. If you decide to park hop, once you've paid the rental fee, you only need to show your receipt from your rental earlier that day to get another stroller at the next park. You will not have to pay again the same day. Pretty cool, right?

Now, regarding if it's better to bring your own stroller or rent one while touring, it depends on the age of your child/children and when you will find a stroller to be most useful. If your child is a bit older and can easily walk from Walt Disney World transportation to park and hotel room entrances, then picking up a stroller in each park may be right for you. There are many miles to cover while enjoying each park, and little legs often can't keep up. We'd rent a stroller for our children when they were older than we'd use at home, simply to make our long days easier on everyone. A trip to the store with a four-year-old, for example would not include a stroller. Touring many miles in Walt Disney World? A stroller is a must at that age.

On the other hand, if you know that your little one will need to be carried to or from the park entrance, along with some gear, you may want to bring your own stroller. Depending on where you'll be staying, an easy-to-fold stroller may be just what you need. When you hop off a Disney Parks bus with a sleeping child, a stroller will help tremendously; you can place your sleepy little one in his or her chariot and wheel your way "home" much more easily.
