    Ashley from UT Asked

I am planning on taking my 5yo & 19m kids to Disneyland at the end of Feb, someone told me it would be cold and rainy. Is this true? Seems like it will still be warmer than Utah but IF it IS rainy one day is there inside options?

    Hello, Ashley!

It sure is a bit warmer at the Disneyland Resort than it is here in Utah at the moment! While I do love the Greatest Snow on Earth, I am also dreaming of the next time I get to head on down to the Happiest Place on Earth.

While February in Anaheim can be a bit cooler and a little wetter than other times of the year, it is still a great time to warm up away the Utah winter and enjoy a vacation with your family. Should some rainfall come your way, there are still many ways to stay dry and keep the magic going, even with your little ones. Of course, to start off, plan ahead for the possibility. Keeping jackets or ponchos on hand will help keep you warm and dry. With that in place, then comes planning for alternate attractions and entertainment.

In Disney California Adventure Park, I would suggest the Disney Junior Dance Party! This joyful show will be sure to get your little ones moving. Another great option should the weather get you down? "Let it go" and exclaim "the cold never bothered me anyway" at Frozen – Live at the Hyperion.

In Disneyland Park, what to do should things get wet? "Yo ho! Yo ho!" Pirates of the Caribbean, of course. Or how about some comfort food at one of my favorite restaurants: Red Rose Taverne. Do try the Grey Stuff Gâteau, it really is delicious!

I hope you have a magical time, Ashley!
