We are planning on taking a cruise to Cast Away Cay in 2020. By then our kids will be 15, 13, 11, 7 and 3!! Are there options to have only one room or two that connect? What would be best option for us to sail without burning a hole in our wallet?!

    Ahoy, Kristen!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm thrilled to hEAR that you're planning a Disney Cruise in just a couple years! It's never too early to start the planning process. Have fun looking at all the different itineraries to choose from on Disney Cruise Line's website. Cruises that sail to the Bahamas and Caribbean usually make a stop at Disney's private island, Castaway Cay. That's a port of call you won't want to miss!

Depending on which ship you choose, you do have an option to have your entire pirate crew in one stateroom as Concierge-level. Both the Royal Suite and 2-Bedroom Suite with Verandah aboard the Disney Wonder and Disney Magic comfortably fit up to seven Guests. There are luxurious benefits that come along with being a Concierge Guest like priority check-in and boarding at the Cruise Terminal, exclusive onboard events, the ability to book Port Adventures 120 days in advance and much more!

Each of the four ships offer adjoining rooms! What possibly might be a more cost-effective route would be to choose two staterooms either adjoining or even across the corridor from one another. You can split your family up and still be close together! If you choose staterooms across from one another, you can choose two different categories and possibly save even more money!

I'm so glad you've started the planning process so far in advance because you'll receive the best rates and availability the more in advance you book your voyage with Captain Mickey. It sounds like 2020 is going to be a magical year for you! It was my pleasure helping you with such a great question. If you can think of any more questions, please sail back and visit us again!
