    Joe from MI Asked

I am planning on surprising my wife with a dinner at the California Grill when we go as a family in August 17'. We share our Disneyexperience login, is there a way to make the reservation and NOT have it show on our itinerary?

    Hi, Joe!
What an awesome idea for a surprise during your visit to Walt Disney World Resort.

My husband and I had a romantic dinner at California Grill a couple of years ago and we still talk about that night! It's such a beautiful and delicious spot.

Before you set up your reservation, I would ask your wife to set up a separate My Disney Experience account based on her own email. That way, you will be able to set up FastPass+ reservations for each of you. You'll be able to see almost the same information together as long as you connect using the "Family and Friends" section.

With separate logins, you can reserve the dinner on My Disney Experience without too much trouble. If you create an online reservation, you can choose how many people are in your dining party but you can leave the names in your group unassigned. That way, the reservation won't show up in your wife's My Disney Experience account. The only person who will see it is you! I would do the same thing if you choose to call in a reservation. Just ask the Cast Member to not connect additional accounts to the reservation.

I hope that helps. I know you will have a magical visit. Enjoy planning your big surprise!
