Hello Moms! I am planning a surprise vacation for my husband's 40th birthday. I wanted to know if the Illuminations Cruise can be booked for just the 2 of us and how far in advance can I book it?

    Hi, Angela!

The Illuminations Fireworks Cruises are booked by the boat, and not by the number of people in your party. In other words, if it's you and your sweetie, you'll be reserving - and paying for - the entire boat for you and your sweetie. Four pontoon boats run the cruises, for example. Each pontoon boat can accommodate up to 10 Guests, and the cost is not determined by the number of passengers. There is one flat fee for the entire cruise experience.

This is also true for cruises on the Grand I yacht; here, however, you will pay a flat hourly rate, regardless of the number of passenger.
    .
You might also want to consider the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage. While not necessarily as "grown-up" as the Illuminations cruises, you'll have beautiful seating for Wishes and the Electric Water Pageant, a fabulous Pirate host, delicious refreshments, and some surprise character interactions along the way. This journey is priced on a per-person basis.

To book any of the Specialty Cruises, call (407) WDW-PLAY. as with dining reservations, you may reserve a spot on a Specialty Cruise 180 days before your arrival.

    Magic ahoy!

    See you later, celebrator!
