I am planning to staying at a deluxe hotel..10 days ending of may-early june...any suggestions....

Narrowing down your deluxe resort options requires a few considerations.

First, price. Animal Kingdom Lodge and Wilderness Lodge are priced lower than the other deluxe hotels. Figure out a budget that works for your family and then try pricing out 10 nights at the deluxe resorts that interest you. If any of the prices do not work for you, cross those resorts off your list.

    2. Location - is there a particular location that would be helpful for your touring days. Some families enjoy staying at a monorail resort (Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Contemporary and Bay Lake Tower) for easy access to the Magic Kingdom. The Contemporary and Bay Lake Tower are even within walking distance of the Magic Kingdom. Another great location is at the Boardwalk Inn or Yacht/Beach Club resorts as they are near Epcot via boat transportation or a pleasant walk.

    3. Theme - let's face it. We all have personal preferences on decor, landscaping, music and dining venues. If you are traveling from Hawaii, you may want something different than the Polynesian Resort. Animal lovers may want to stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

    4. Pool - if your family plans on lazy afternoons pool-side, your resort choice may include the type of pool offered at the hotel. Stormalong Bay at the Yacht/Beach Club is a popular choice.

    5. Restaurants - do you want to be close to many dining options? If so, your best location is on the monorail line or over in the Boardwalk area.

My family has stayed at nearly all of the deluxe hotels. Our favorites are the Animal Kingdom Lodge, Beach Club, Grand Floridian and Polynesian. They all have pros and cons. For example, the Animal Kingdom Lodge offers a stunning lobby, safari views and great dining, however it is far from all of the parks except the Animal Kingdom. Rooms are smaller than other deluxe hotels.
