Hello! We are planning to stay onsite, but two family members will need fewer Disney park days. If we purchase park tickets from another vendor, can we still make FPP reservations at 60 days since we're staying onsite? Or can we do this thru WDW?

    Hi Kimberly,

Thanks for stopping by with your question. Although your magical vacation is a few months away, I'm so glad you are busy planning for it.

Among the many Disney Resort Hotel Guest Benefits, one is that you can book FastPass+ reservations for up to three attractions per day, based on the length of your Theme Park Tickets, up to 60 days in advance. This gives you a leg up over those staying off site. This option is available regardless if you book a room-only reservation, or a Magic Your Way Vacation Package.

With a room-only reservation, you will need to purchase Theme Park Tickets in advance and link them through your My Disney Experience account. Then, 60 days out, you'll be able to make FastPass+ reservations. Now, when you book a Magic Your Way Vacation Package, all members of your party will get the same length Tickets. It doesn't have to be the same number of days or nights of your stay. My family likes to reserve a day to relax and enjoy the Resort hotel. You can also add days for some of the tickets once you are on site, simply by visiting Guest Relations at the entrance of any of the Theme Parks or in Disney Springs, or the Concierge desk at your hotel.

One last tip: We love our Disney Visa Card from Chase. One thing we sometimes do is we don't select the Park Hopper Option when we book our reservation, but once we get on site, we add the option and use the Disney Dream Rewards Dollars to pay for it.
