I am planning a split stay vacation Summer 2016 - 5 nights Old Key West on Dining Plan - 5 nights beach location then - 5 nights TBC Disney Resort. Can we save some dining plan credits to use when we return to Disney at the end of our trip ?

Hi Kate! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love split stays, it's a fun way to experience the wonderful and unique amenities at Walt Disney World Resort hotels...each offers it's own magical charm.

With a split stay you'll have two separate reservations. Your Disney Dining Plan is connected to your villa reservation for the entire length of your stay for all the members of your travel party. You can begin redeeming meals as soon as you check-in. Unfortunately since your dining entitlements are based on your length of stay, they will expire at midnight the day you checkout of your Walt Disney World Resort. You cannot save unused entitlements for a later visit and there are no refunds.

We typically have some entitlements leftover so we load up on all our favorite goodies for a happy road trip home. You can head to any quick service restaurant like the one at your resort.

I hope this helps as you plan your magical and memorial visit next summer.
