Hi We are planning on spending christmas week at BLT 2014. I was thinking about decoration for christmas. we will have a 2 bedroom so there is room for a tree. Do we bring our own tree (LIve, fake). Will the decoration need to be inspected for safety .

    Howdy Roy!!!

Christmas 2014 at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort!!!!!!!!!!!!  How magical!!!!!

I love how cautious you are being!  Thank you for this!!  I confirmed with a Cast Member that decorations are not typically inspected for safety.  Safety is always priority 1 for Guests and Cast Members and I know a Cast Member would be more than glad to assist you in answering any questions about your items when you arrive.  Regardless, if you have any concerns about a particular item, you might not want to use it as I would hate for you to spend your time in the theme parks worrying about your Christmas decorations when you need to be enjoying yourself!!

I love that you are planning your decorations.  Your villa will be so festive!

If you are limited on space or still concerned about bringing your own items, you might also consider contacting Disney Floral & Gifts at (407) WDW-GIFT or (407) 939-4438 and speaking with a Dream Maker.  They can help you plan the perfect decorations for your 2-Bedroom Villa.

Thanks so much for your question and have a magical day!
