Hi, we are planning a six day vacation, with five day park admission. The last time we went our child was four but now, she is six. I need opinions...should I bring a stroller this time, to maximize our time at the parks?

    Hi Lacy:

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am in the same boat.  My five year old insists she no longer needs a stroller, but I really like having the convenience of the stroller late at night and early in the morning, just to make our travel time more simple.  I do see quite a few bigger children in strollers, there is a lot of walking during a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation, so I really think it is a decision based comfort (and convenience) for you and your daughter.  Personally, I still believe it is a good idea to bring a stroller and "park" it while you explore certain areas of the theme parks.  When you are ready to move on to a different area, grab your stroller and offer your daughter a ride.  With my daughter, the stroller gives her enough of a rest and we are able to experience much more than what she could handle walking the entire time.  If you find your daughter really isn't using the stroller, leave it in your resort room for the day and see how she handles the "freedom".

I hope that helps Lacy.  Please feel free to send me any other questions as you continue to plan your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation.  I would be happy to help in any way I can.
