    Eve from NY Asked

I am planning a short trip to WDW and we are going to go to MK on a Tues. in Oct. I just found out that we will have to leave the park early, prior to parade/fireworks. Is there a QS restaurant we can go there that well be able to see the fireworks?

    Hi Eve,
Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like the Magic Kingdom will be hosting Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) during your visit. Unfortunately, without a party ticket, you will not be allowed to stay inside the Magic Kingdom during the party. Each of the resorts along the monorail line has a quick service restaurant, but I'm afraid that none of them have direct views of the Magic Kingdom. Disney's Polynesian Village Resort has Captain Cook's, Disney's Contemporary Resort has the Contempo Café and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has the Gasparilla Island Grill available as quick service options. You may be able to view the fireworks from the beach area at one of the resorts after your meal. A great place to see the fireworks would actually be from the Transportation and Ticket Center. The area near the ferry boat launch is fantastic despite being somewhat far away.

Honestly, Eve, I would be remiss if I didn't just come out and suggest attending MNSSHP to you. It's my favorite special event of the year. The crowds are smaller because it's a limited admission event, you can trick-or-treat, the parade is fantastic and the fireworks show, Happy HalloWishes, is absolutely spectacular. You can enter the park as early as 4 p.m. with your party ticket and you can make FastPass+ selections from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with your park ticket.

I hope you have a wonderful vacation!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.
