Hi there! planning a september trip with my family of 6, my husband & I and 4 kids, ages 17, 12, 5 and 3, I am torn between music suites and pop century 2 rooms! I worry about being to far away with dragging little ones, and size of rooms, any though

    Hi Holly,

Good news, at All Star Music Family Suites the buildings that house the suites are the closest to the main building/pool, so there won't be a lot of walking around the resort.  Similarly, at Pop Century you can make a reservation for a preferred room to keep you close to the main building, too.

As for the square footage, a family suite is 520 sq. feet and two rooms at Pop Century --- 520 sq feet!

So ultimately I think there are 3 differences.  At the suites, you will have a sitting area (until converted for sleeping) as well as a kitchenette that you won't have at Pop Century.

The decor is another difference.  I'd encourage you to visit www.allearsnet.com where you will find videos of both resorts to give you a better idea of what they look like.  Youtube also has videos on both resorts (including one of the family suites). You can see which decor and room arrangement would work best for your family.

The other difference is transportation.  Pop Century has its own bus service while you may share with other All Star resorts while staying at  the family suites.

I hope these differences and similarities help you with your decision.  Have a magical trip!
