I am planning a Sept WDW trip. My first day to make ADR is June 21. I know that the earliest that I can call is 7am EST. Do you know what time the online reservations will open up? Does using the online system give you an advantage over calling?

    Hello Sarah!

I have been using the on-line reservation system every day in hopes of finding an earlier reservation at Chef Mickey's on my first night. The system is very simple to use - simply search for your restaurant of choice, input a little information and choose from the available options.

The on-line reservation system operates 24 hours a day, however the new calendar day rolls out at 6:00 am EST. So, when you reach your 90 day mark, you can access the on-line reservation system a full hour before the phone lines open up. This can be a huge advantage!

There is a place to enter your Disney reservation number if you are staying on property so that you can book your 90 + 10 days. HOWEVER, currently the system won't recognize your reservation number if you booked through DVC or a travel agent. You can still use the on-line system, but you would need to call in the get the +10 day benefit for Disney resort guests.

    I hope this helps!
