We are planning a second trip to Disney between 25 Jan and 14 Feb 2009. Is this a slow time to go? I believe we will be staying at Carribbean Bch. We went last year 2-13 of April, and lines were 1 1/2 hrs long, it was miserable with 2 kids under 6yrs.

Hi Tonya,  My family and I went to Disney last year during the first week of February, and the parks were not overcrowded.  To avoid lines, even during slower times of the year, really try to get to the parks right when they open.  It is always amazing to me how many attractions we can get to first thing in the morning!  Also, use Fast Passes when you can.  These are the best time saver you will find!

As you approach mid-February, crowds will begin to grow the closer you get to President's Day (this year on February 16.)  This is traditionally a very busy time at Disney World.

I am guessing you probably hit the Spring Break crowds last year.  Hopefully, with a late January/early February vacation, you will have more manageable crowds.  Make your dining reservations ahead of time, use fast passes, and get to parks early to make your trip run smoothly.  Have a great vacation!
