We are planning to ride on the Holiday Sleigh Ride in Fort Wilderness. We are 4 adults and 2 children ages 5 and 7. Can we all fit in the sleigh for this ride? Could the kids sit on our laps if necessary?

Greetings Vincent!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  A holiday sleigh ride sounds so jolly!  I have reserved one for my family when we visit over Christmas.

Per the website, the sleigh ride can hold a maximum of 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 small children. Unfortunately, it sounds like your party will need to split up.  The carriage rides only last 25 minutes so if you made your reservations back to back, it really isn't that long to wait.  If it were me, I would send 2 adults and the two children together and then if you had a couple in your party, make it a romantic mini date!  Because the sleigh rides are so popular, I highly recommend making a reservation by phone at 407-WDW-PLAY.

I hope you enjoy your holiday visit to Walt Disney World.  If I can help you with anything else before you go, please feel free to ask me.

I love all-things-Walt Disney World! No trip is complete without a few carrot cake cookies, Dole Whip Floats, thrill rides with my 7-year-old, Pin Trading and finding Hidden Mickeys with my husband. I may have a small family but we are always ready for some BIG fun on our next Walt Disney World vacation! Learn More About Jackie
