I am planning a return visit to WDW in May 2013. I am looking for a list of the handicap accessible units by resort so that I can request the resort and room location that best suits our needs. I have been unable to find one. Can you help?

    Hi Mary-Lynne!

Congratulations on your plans to return to Walt Disney World in 2013!

There are a wide variety of options to choose from when it comes to accessible Resort Rooms at Walt Disney World. You'll notice by searching online that many non-Disney 'fan sites' have been created specifically sharing this type of information in the community. You may find an online site that is helpful to you in summarizing the information you're hoping for in one place.

To speak directly with a Cast Member specializing in Services for Guests with Disabilities at Walt Disney World, please call (407) 824-4321. A Cast Member there will be pleased to review the Resort and Room options available across the property to help you determine the best possible location for a room that meets all of your needs! Since renovations occur and statistics do change from time to time, I'd highly recommend that you speak directly to a Cast Member in order to obtain the most up to date information to assist you in your Walt Disney World Resort decision-making.

On the Walt Disney World website you'll also find a full page dedicated to Hotel Room amenities and other features around the parks for Guests with Disabilities. I've included the link for you. You'll also find some handy, printable guides for the parks on the right hand side of the page just under the contact information.

I hope that this information is helpful to you Mary-Lynne!
Please feel free to write me back any time if I can assist you further with your planning.

Wishing you a simply Magical time as you begin planning your May 2013 trip to Walt Disney World!
