I am planning to redeem my Airmiles rewards for a 5-day WDW pass for each family member. Can I book Fast Passes and meals with an Airmiles redemption? Or do I have to wait until I have exchanged the Airmiles passes for actual tickets, at the gate?

     Hi Darryn,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow Canadian! I'm thrilled to hear that collecting Air Miles in Canada has paid off for you, and that you'll be able to redeem them in order to purchase Theme Park Tickets for your family's upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort.

From what I understand, when you redeem your AirMiles, you should receive a confirmation email or a "hard ticket" (i.e. card) in the mail that will include a code for each ticket that you've ordered. You'll then be able to enter these codes at the Link Tickets screen at My Disney Experience (you can get there by clicking on "My Plans" and then clicking on the "Tickets" bubble after the picture on that screen). There, you'll be able to enter the codes you've received, one at a time, and link them to each of your family members' My Disney Experience profiles.

Once that part is done, you'll be able to make your family's FastPass+ selections when your selection window opens, either 60 days before you check in to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel or 30 days before each day that you plan to visit a Theme Park.

If you experience any issues during the ticket linking process, please contact Walt Disney World Resort (and the My Disney Experience help center) for assistance.

Please don't hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
