    Mary from TN Asked

We are planning on purchasing annual passes next year. Can we book room only and still add dining plan? And do we have to have passes before we book to get discount?

Hello there, Mary! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop back by and ask another wonderful Walt Disney World Resort question!

Congratulations on making the decision to become Walt Disney World Annual Passholders! Becoming an Annual Passholder truly means joining a second family filled with other Guests that love Disney just as much as you! I can’t wait for you and your family to experience all the fun and wonder of a year filled with Walt Disney World Resort!

As you may know, there are many additional perks that come along with an Annual Pass. In addition to gaining entry to four amazing theme parks, you are also to make advance FastPass+ reservations, receive complimentary standard parking when visiting the parks, and receive extra special discounts! One of my personal favorite Annual Passholder discounts is those available on Disney Resort hotel rooms. You will be happy to hear that you can definitively book a Disney Resort hotel room with an Annual Passholder discount and also purchase a Disney Dining Plan. You can do this by contacting the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations phone line after you’ve reserved your Disney Resort hotel room.

You will need to purchase Annual Passes in order to gain access to the Annual Passholder discounts on the Disney Resort hotel Special Offers page. However, you will be able to access these discounts as your Annual Pass has been linked to your My Disney Experience account!

Have fun continuing to plan for your upcoming year as a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder!
