When planning online with Disney packages, it tells you under park activities "Magic Kingdom: 2 Days" and so on for all the parks, are you able to change that? Say I don't want 2 Days for Animal Kingdom or something like that?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kathy!

One of the wonderful things about vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort is that no two families do it exactly the same way. Some of us prefer more days at the pool or water parks. Others visit the four Disney theme parks from dawn to dark every single day. Time could be spent shopping or golfing or fishing. Therefore, there's quite a bit of flexibility built into each Walt Disney World Resort vacation package. Once you decide how many days you wish to spend in the theme parks and whether or not you wish to park hop, you decide how many days you spend in each theme park. For instance, if you have a four day Magic Your Way theme park ticket, you may choose to spend one day in each of the theme parks, or you may choose to spend all four days in Epcot. It's up to you. Occasionally there are theme park tickets released which specify that you spend one day in each theme park, but that's pretty rare. In most cases, you get to decide, for example, how many days you spend in Disney's Hollywood Studios.

The site that suggested that you should spend two days in Magic Kingdom Park is just letting you know that you'd probably need two days there to see and do all that you'd like to do. It's an amazing park with extraordinary attractions and lands worth investigating in detail. However, if you'd like to allocate your vacation time differently, that's perfectly fine. Keep in mind that you also have the option to put together a vacation by buying your theme park tickets, food and guest room separately. Perhaps that would work better for your family.

If you need any suggestions for how to allocate your vacation time and budget, don't hesitate to ask. We'd be happy to provide whatever advice may be helpful.

    Best wishes,
    Jill
