Epcot and monorail at night

We are planning one day for our first Epcot Food & Wine. Do you recommend we go on Sunday, 10/1 or Monday 10/2? Oct. 1 is Epcot's 35th anniversary. Will Epcot be doing anything special to celebrate? That might be a factor in our decision.

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Karen!

Your arrival date is just around the corner. Are you packed and ready? I bet your excitement levels are off the charts as your countdown gets shorter. I’m excited for you just writing this! I bet this visit is going to be truly unforgettable.

How magical that you get to be at the Walt Disney World Resort right when Epcot is celebrating 35 dream-tastic years! And during the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival? I bet that day will be one to remember!

I stumbled upon Magic Kingdom on its 45th anniversary last October and I was pleasantly surprised with all the magical special merchandise and commemorative activities that took place that day! So far, the Disney Parks Blog has released info about special merchandise that will be available that day. No official word yet on any additional special events to celebrate the occasion, but after being at Magic Kingdom’s anniversary, I bet there will be magical celebrations of some sort taking place. I’d keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the latest announcements. You can even get all the news hot off the press and straight to your inbox by subscribing.

I highly recommend you don’t miss out the opportunity to be at Epcot during this special day! It will probably be a bit busier than usual so be sure to plan your FastPass+ and Advanced Dining Reservations early. But it will be worth it!

I hope you have an amazing time celebrating Epcot’s 35th anniversary and during your entire visit this fall! Be sure to come back and see us again soon for any additional tips or questions about your visit.
