Planning a 7 nite EC Fantasy cruise! We tried Palo last time, but interested in trying Remy this time! My husband and I don't really drink wine. Is this dinner worthwhile/are we missing the experience if we go but just drink (gasp!) soda or ice tea?

Hi again, Christiane! I'm so happy to hear you're going to make reservations for a meal at Remy! What an amazing experience you will have there.

If you're not big wine drinkers, then by all means, don't order wine! Of course, the sommelier there has created some wonderful optional pairings of wine with the food courses, but you are certainly not required to order wine. Order whatever you'd like to drink. This is your cruise after all! There is a complimentary champagne cocktail that each guest receives at the beginning of the meal, but if you don't drink champagne, just pass on it. The real luxury of Remy is the food, and that's what you're there for.

Don't worry about what others are doing, and don't feel pressured to order wine. The sommelier understands this and many guests enjoy a delicious meal there with no alcohol, so no worries, Christiane!

    Have fun planning!
