We r planning on a 7night cruise w/ another family. We have 6kids from 7 y.o. to my daughter who turns 13 the month b4 the cruise. Are there things that she won't be able to do on bc she will be 13? I hate for her to be the only one left out

Welcome aboard, Melinda! Sailing with Disney Cruise Line is always fun, but when friends join you, it makes the vacation even more magical!

Disney offers the most amazing Youth Clubs at sea! There are three fabulous clubs for the kids in your group. The Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab are the spots for kids ages three to twelve. Super fun activities go on all day and late into the night with the great counselors there. Your 13 year old daughter will not be able to head in there during regular programming hours, but if she wants to join her siblings and friends along with you in those two clubs, parents and older kids are allowed to join in on the fun during Open House hours when parents stay with the kids in the clubs, and siblings can join too!

You didn't mention how old the other kids in your group are, but if any are ten or up, they could join your daughter in the tween club, Edge. Honestly, at 13, she's going to have so much more fun in Edge than in the younger kids' clubs, so I have a feeling she will not be feeling left out at all! While Edge is for kids 11-14, they do usually allow 10 year olds who are sailing with older friends or family to join in on the fun in Edge, with signed parental consent. My daughter joined Edge for the first time on our last sailing and spent so much time there, making new friends with the other kids and counselors. She felt very grown up and independent getting to be with the older group of kids and really enjoyed the more grown up activities they did there.

Now, besides the Youth Clubs, the whole family is in for lots of fun together on the pool deck, at the family game shows, Broadway-style shows, and other family activities all around the ship. I just know your daughter is in for the time of her life, Melinda!
