Planning our next trip & thinking about an extra ticket for my husbands grandpa who lives close. We wont be able to add an extra ticket to our pkg because were already at the max for our room. If we get an extra ticket only for him, can we FP his w/ ou

    Amber:

The answer to your question is a 'yes' and a 'no.'

FastPass+ selections can be made for guests staying on property at 60 days out from their arrival date. For those not staying on property, FastPass+ selections can be made 30 days out. Because you do not have the ability to add your husband's grandpa to your resort reservation, you will not be able to make his FastPass+ selections at the earliest time of 60 days out like you can the other tickets linked to your reservation. However, you can make them at 30 days out if you link the ticket to your My Disney Experience account at www.disneyworld.com.

If you are flexible with your schedule, consider keeping the attractions that you choose at 60 days out, but change the time, if you need to, when his FP+ window opens up to accommodate him with the times still available. Also, keep in mind that some attractions, like the evening parade and fireworks FP+, sometimes don't actually open up until around the 30-day-out window.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
