We are planning to meet another family for dinner when we visit WDW in October 2016. Both families will have a dining plan. How do we go about making our reservations so we can sit together and utilize each family's dining plan?

    Hi there Tara!

Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation! This is a great question. My recommendation is for one family to make the Advanced Dining Reservation and include everyone that will be dining together. For example, if one family is a party of 5 and one family is a party of 6, have one person make the Advanced Dining Reservation for 11. When making the Advanced Dining Reservation, you do not have to specify that there are multiple guests using the Disney Dining Plan. The restaurant simply needs to know how many guests will be in the dining party so that a table will be available that can accommodate your entire travel party. You can then let your server know how many meals will need to be redeemed from each dining plan at dinner.

I hope this information is helpful to you. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any additional questions that you may have as your vacation draws closer. Best wishes for a magical trip, Tara!

    Bon Appétit,
