We are planning a late June vacation at WDW. I have two boys, 9 and 5. I would love a double stroller as a "just in case" but the weight limit on the double rentals is 100lbs. My boys weights combined is 130+. Do you have any recommendations?

    Hi Aimee,

I understand your concern.  My boys are older as well, and my older son has some special needs, that occasionally lead me to want a stroller for part of the day.  The strollers available at the Disney theme parks are made of heavy, durable plastic, and are able to handle larger/older children easily.  In fact on really hot days (or days when I prefer to move through the parks at an adult's pace rather than at the pace of a tired child) I push both of them with no trouble.  Combined, they weigh a lot more than I do, and I have no problems!  You can rent a stroller at the front of any of the theme parks, and can get a "length of stay" rental, where you would only pay once, and then simply show your receipt each time you need a stroller.

Have a wonderful visit!  Feel free to write back with any questions!
