Planning a last min trip to Disney. We live in FL so we will be driving our own car.Thinking of staying at the Boardwalk Inn.Is the bus to WDW easy to access? Can we bring our own stroller with us?How long does the bus take?Does it go to animal kingdom too?

    Hey there, Shannon!

So happy to have you visit with the Disney Parks Moms Panel! No need to worry! We're here to help you plan the best last minute Disney vacation ever!

Disney's Boardwalk area is one my favorite places at Walt Disney World to people watch! Since you will be driving in and staying at a Disney resort, you will receive complimentary parking at your resort as well as all of the theme parks during your stay.

At Disney's Boardwalk in, you will have 2 modes of transportation available to you from this resort. There's the Friendship Boats that can take you to Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot and the bus system that can take you to all of the theme parks. The bus stop at your resort is a very short walk just off of the lobby area of Disney's Boardwalk Inn. Depending on the time of day and year, the bus ride to each park can take anywhere from 15-45 minutes. You would need to factor in the time you wait to board the bus and any traffic that may be in the area. So, if you have dining reservations or trying to make a scheduled FastPass+ attraction, give yourself at least 45-60 minutes to board the bus and walk into the theme park.

I would absolutely bring a stroller if you have small children. You'll need to fold it when loading the buses. Strollers are our best friends when we visit Disney. When the kids get tired of walking or need a quick nap, it just like Tinkerbell flew down and sprinkled pixie dust on us when we have those strollers handy!

Whether it's the Magic Kingdom, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Epcot, or Disney's Hollywood Studios, there's complimentary transportation to get you there from your resort.

If you have more planning questions for your last minute trip, please come back and visit with us again! We're more than happy to help you!
