We are planning a large group trip to Florida (14) and are trying to decide on a resort choice in the moderate range that will be fun for kids ages 2-18. Any recommendations? We are going in November 11. Is this a good time to be in the park?

Hi Robin!  November is generally a great month for great weather and for the most part for crowds as well. Average temperatures range from 59-79 degrees with the early mornings and evenings being cool enough for a wrap.

My suggestion for a resort for your group in the moderate range would be the Port Orleans resort.  This has two sections and both are wonderful but with a different theme....French Quarter and Riverside.  This is my favorite moderate because you are able to take the boats to Downtown Disney to enjoy that wonderful area.  With the group having such an age range you can see the benefit for the older ones being able to head to that area to dine or enjoy things like Disney Quest on their own.  To see some wonderful pictures of this resort please go to portorleans.org.
