We are planning a large family trip this fall. We have not driven to Disney in 15 years. What ID do I need to get on the property with a car and is there a fee to park? Thanks!

    Hi Barbara,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. We're always happy to help you prepare for your next Walt Disney World vacation.

If you are driving into a resort, the driver will need to show a photo ID at the security gate. Walt Disney World resort guests do not pay to park either at the resort or at any of the four theme parks. You will need to present your MagicBand or parking pass to gain free entry to the theme park parking lots.

If you are not staying on Disney property, you will need to pay the daily parking fee at the theme parks. Standard daily parking is currently $20. No ID is required to enter the theme park parking lot.

I hope that clarifies the parking for you. Please don't hesitate to check back with us if you have any more questions.

    Enjoy your visit!
