Hi we are planning on going on July 2-6. I will be going with my 6 year old, my sister, brother in law and niece who will be turning 1 . We want to celebrate her birthday which will be on July 3rd. Where do you recommend us to go to celebrate her birthday?

    Hi Roxana,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I have it on good authority that Mickey and Minnie Mouse love to celebrate birthdays!

For this first special birthday, I recommend keeping it simple. Try making a dining reservation at Chef Mickey's and ordering one of the Cakes at Walt Disney World Resort. The Mickey Mouse celebration cakes are yummy and can be delivered. Just check the list of participating restaurants. At this time, Chef Mickey's is one of those participating restaurants.

Or, if you want a complete princess experience, make a reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table. The girls can greet Cinderella as they enter the castle and ascend the stairs like royalty. There are also a variety of gifts you could order from Disney Floral & Gifts. Our girls have loved having balloons delivered and we all loved a snack bag that we received. The cooler bag that the snacks were packed in was awesome and we enjoyed the snacks over the course of our trip!

Of course, there are always enchanting experiences that you could schedule. Disney's Perfectly Princess Tea might be a super sweet celebration. Just be sure to review the pricing information, especially for infants. Whenever we do princess dining, our girls dress in their finest royal attire, accessories included. We always select their princess dresses, shoes and jewelry prior to the trip and just bring it with us when we travel.

Roxana, happy birthday to your niece!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
