    Carol from NV Asked

We are planning a huge family trip in November and some of want to do a character meal. What happens if I make a reservation for 10 people and only 8 show up? And how much is a deposit for Minnie and friends breakfast? Thank you

Hello, Carol! I love that you are planning a big family trip to the Disneyland Resort! I once traveled with a group of eight and it was a blast to share those memories with everyone.

The Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park is my absolute favorite character meal! The buffet has just about everything anyone could ever want for breakfast and the character interaction is above and beyond what I have experienced anywhere else. You'll be glad to know that you do not have to pay any type of deposit to make a reservation here, but a credit card is required just to secure the reservation. Also, at this restaurant, you will pay for your meal in advance when you arrive.

The dining reservation cancellation policy states that a cancellation fee of up to $10 per person can apply for no shows or if the reservation isn't canceled at least a day in advance. In my experience, however, it hasn't been a problem if one or two people were absent when we showed up as most Cast Members understand that sometimes unforeseen issues arise and not everyone is able to attend. If possible, though, try to confirm with all members of your party in advance whether they will be attending or not. Then you can modify your reservation at least a day in advance and not have to worry about the possibility of a cancellation/no show fee.

I hope your meal at the Plaza Inn is full of memories, magic, and Mickey waffles!
