    Jaimie Asked

Hi, Planning our honeymoon for July 9-17th. Looking for something really memorable. Thinking about the parasailing excursion. Is it worth the cost for a 12 min ride? Any other suggestions? We have made some excellent ADRs but looking for something

Hi, Jaimie!  I have not personally done the parasailing, and I could say that for me, those 12 minutes would be the longest of  my life!  But, I would run out of space on the internet if I listed all the times people have told me how awesome the parasailing is.  It's an exhilarating experience that gets two thumbs up from virtually everyone I know that has taken the ride.

Some other things you can consider might be the Characters in Flight hot air balloon ride.  Soaring high over the Downtown Disney area, you can see the whole Walt Disney World resort, and at night, it's spectacular.  How about the Pirates and Pals fireworks voyage?  It may sound like it's for kids, but it so isn't.  Enjoy snacks and cold drinks at the Contemporary, then set sail for the best seat in the house for the Wishes fireworks from the Magic Kingdom.

There are other behind the scenes tours that are fun.  You could try zip lining during the Wild Africa Trek, or check out the Behind the Seeds tour of the Land at EPCOT.  See what else might be of interest by visiting Walt Disney World Events and Tours.

You could do spa treatments, play a round of golf (the real kind or the miniature variety), or enjoy afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian.  And don't forget to mention that you're celebrating your honeymoon everywhere you go!

Congratulations and best wishes for the most magical wedding and a very happily ever after!
