    Shannon from CA Asked

We're planning to go to WDW in August with my 20 month old and he will need a nap @ noon. We considered gettting a hotel just for one night, but we live in Tampa and feel like it would be a waste of $$. Are there any quiet places to nap within the park?

    Hi there Shannon!

I'm not sure if your child is a light sleeper or if he/she minds the heat much. I know that in August the temperature is very hot so maybe if you can find a shaded spot for your toddler to rest is a great start. If you will be bringing a stroller, maybe sitting in one of the indoor or outdoor dinning areas would be nice. You and your spouse could eat while your child takes a nice needed nap. One of my favorite places to eat/rest is upstairs at the Columbia Harbor House. You could go on It's a Small World and once your child gets sleepy on the boat then head over to the restaurant to rest. There are also quiet areas around Cinderella's Castle where you can sit on a bench and rest. These are outdoors so there will be heat. I hope this information helps you with your planning and if you have more questions, please ask away, we are always here to help! Have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort!
