    Sara Asked

Planning on going to go to DW in October - my kids will b 2 and 5. Where is the best place to stay with kids? Also do u think it is best to stay on Disney property or to stay off grounds?

    Hi, Sara!

Staying on Walt Disney World property adds measures of magic and convenience that really take your stay to the next level.

The theming and level of service you will experience at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel are unsurpassed by most off-property hotels. And the proximity to the Parks is a real feature.

Only Disney Resort Guests are entitled to spend Extra Magic Hours at the Parks, too. Every day, one Park will either open early or stay open later, strictly for the use of those Guests with Keys to the World.

If you are going to tay off-property, consider looking into a "Disney Good Neighbor" hotel. These are hotels in the area that, while not owned and operated by Disney, do have some of the same perks of staying at a Disney Resort: a Disney store in the lobby, perhaps or continuous shuttle transportation to and from the Parks,

As for where to stay with little ones? There is really no "bad hotel" there, or one that caters more to grown-ups. It all depends on three factors: personal taste in decor and amenities, the "goal" of your trip, and, of course, the travel budget.

If you'd like to help me out by providing some of these specifics, I would be delighted to narrow down my recommendations and work on a plan that will best suit your travel party. I look forward to hearing from you!

    See you later, celebrator,
