    Friend from WA Asked

Hi, We are planning to go to Disneyland on 4/8/2018. We have a 12 year and 14 year old girls. Its their first time there. Would you recommend a 2 day hopper or 3 day? Also, is there a discount on parking and Max pass? Finally, where do we get a first timer

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Friend!

Hooray! In just a few days you will be having a blast at the Disneyland Resort! If your travel dates are flexible, I would absolutely recommend purchasing three-day Park Hopper tickets. This will allow you and your daughters to thoroughly explore both parks with extra time to ride favorite attractions multiple times or to catch certain shows like Frozen - Live at the Hyperion or Mickey and the Magical Map. Further, with a three-day or longer theme park ticket, you are entitled to one Magic Morning at Disneyland Park on either a Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday. Magic Morning allows Guests to enter the park one hour before general admission. In my experience, this early hour is absolutely invaluable. Crowds are typically very low first thing in the morning so you can get a lot done.

If your daughters are thrill-seekers, then I would suggest adding the Disney MaxPass option to your tickets. Being able to select FASTPASSES on your mobile device from anywhere in the parks saves an incredible amount of time. Plus, downloads of all your PhotoPass photos are included on any day that you use MaxPass.

While there aren't any discounts on parking, you can purchase your vouchers in advance online. This will save you a little time as you head into the parks for the day.

Finally, to pick up your complimentary "1st Visit" buttons, stop in to City Hall in Disneyland Park or the Chamber of Commerce in Disney California Adventure Park.

I hope your visit to the Disneyland Resort is full of magic and memories!
