I am planning to go to Disney by year's end with my wife and adopted daughter who is two years old. My question is, what are the best activities we can plan as a family since we do not want to leave our daughter anywere?

Carlos, since you don't want to leave your daughter anywhere, you've chosen to vacation in the perfect place; Walt Disney World is the most family friendly resort you'll find and there are plenty of activities that your entire family will equally enjoy.

First of all, think about scheduling a character meal.  At two, your daughter may be frightened of the larger than life characters, but then again, eating with JoJo might be her dream come true.  She'll likely be familiar with the Playhouse Disney characters at the Play 'n' Dine at Hollywood & Vine character breakfast at Hollywood Studios.  Reservations can be made by calling 407-WDW-DINE.  While you're at the park, be sure to stop by the Playhouse Disney - Live on Stage show

Animal Kingdom offers some great attractions too, for both children and adults.  We really like the Nemo musical and the Festival of the Lion King show.  You'd probably also enjoy Kilimanjaro Safaris but you'll want to hang on tight to your daughter; it's a bumpy ride!

Of course the Magic Kingdom is a must-do.  You'll find a ton of attractions you can all enjoy together.

There are some great things you can do together outside of the parks as well.  You can ride the monorail, stroll around Downtown Disney, or rent a surrey bike (there is a safe seat onboard for your daughter) and cruise the Boardwalk resort area.  Be sure to get your daughter a Mickey ice cream bar; it's sort of a right of passage in our family.  Even splashing around in the resort pool will be a memorable part of your family vacation.  The opportunities are practically endless.  I'm sure you're vacation will be a magical one that none of you will soon forget!
