We are planning our first visit to Disney World with our 3 year old daughter for four days. We are wondering if it would be best to stay at one DW hotel location or split the time between two for convenience and experience?

    Hi Joan:

If you are heading to Disney World for four days with a little one, my advice would be to stay at one Resort.  Changing Resorts is relatively easy and while variety is good, the drawback to changing Resorts during your vacation is having to unpack and pack twice. Also, your room at the second Resort may not be ready by the time you are ready to check in. Bell services will hold your bags until your room is ready, so I would make sure you take certain essentials in a small bag with you.

I don't have a strong opinion, since I think you can change Resorts and be totally fine and any hassle will be minimal.  But for me, I would not want to spend time on vacation packing and unpacking twice, nor risk wanting to check into my second room and it not being ready when I am ready.  Especially with a three year old who may need a nap or to relax.

Whatever you choose, enjoy your vacation.
