We are planning our first visit to Disney World this spring and have already purchased tickets (we are not staying in a WDW resort). The app mentions cards for Fast Pass. How do we obtain this card or cards? Our tickets were purchased online.

Hi there Lisa! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We're so glad you're here with your vacation planning question. How exciting that you are about to embark on your very first visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth! I'd be happy to assist you.

Okay, so you've taken an essential step in any Walt Disney World vacation - purchasing your ticket to fun! When you buy theme tickets online, you are given a confirmation number for will call pick-up. You can also use this number to link the tickets to your My Disney Experience account if you haven't already done so. This will be essential for making FastPass+ reservations later.

Upon arrival at Walt Disney World, simply present your confirmation number and a photo ID at any will call ticketing window just outside the entrance of the four major theme parks or at the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. The ticket windows adjacent to theme park entrances generally open about one hour before the scheduled opening of the theme park. I recommend giving yourself plenty of time (at least 30 minutes) to go through security and bag check, retrieve your tickets, and move through the entry point. Tickets in hand, you are ready to fly off to Neverland!

The tickets you receive at will call will be plastic, similar to credit cards. These will serve as your admission media as well as your means of redeeming FastPass+. When you are ready to use one of your FastPass+ reservations, upon arrival at the attraction, locate the sign and queue for FastPass+. Look for a post with a Mickey Mouse head, similar to the one used to scan your ticket at the park entrance. Tap your admission card to the Mickey Mouse symbol, and once you see green, you are good to go!

Remember that you are able to select up to 3 FastPass+ experiences in advance for each day of your vacation. Once you have used those initial 3, you can use the My Disney Experience app or a FastPass+ kiosk to make another selection, subject to availability. If you have any difficulties with FastPass+ while you are in the theme parks, a friendly Cast Member with an iPad will be able to help. Check the theme park maps for locations of FastPass+ kiosks; there are always plenty of Cast Members on hand here to assist you.

I hope that helps as your prepare for your upcoming Disney adventure. Be sure to mark your calendar and begin making FastPass+ selections as early as 30 days prior to each theme park day. Best wishes for a magical and memorable vacation!

    See ya real soon!
