Hi! Planning my first trip to WDW. We are traveling with a 2 and a 4 year old and need some advice on where to stay. We are looking into the Moderate Disney Resorts but not sure if we should choose by area, ages or look since they all cost almost the same.

If it were me, Veronica, I'd probably base my decision on my children, since the moderate resorts all have similar amenities.  If, for instance, your little ones are into all things swashbuckling, I'd opt for a stay at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort in one of their specially-themed pirate rooms.  If pirates don't float their boats (pun intended) per se, you might consider the Coronado Springs Resort for its archeological themed pool and unique "Explorer's Playground".

I wouldn't base my decision on location because none of the moderate resorts are within walking distance to any theme parks, meaning you'll have to rely on either a personal vehicle or Disney transportation no matter which you choose.  When deciding between moderate resorts, I think personal preference for theming is key.  You can explore/compare all the different options by clicking HERE.
