Hello - we are planning our very first trip to WDW in Sept 2013 and would like to know if accommodation rates are per room or per person? Are children free or are they at an additional charge?

    Hi Simone!

Congratulations on planning your first trip to the Walt Disney World Resorts! Prepare for the time of your life!

The accommodation rates for the Disney resorts can vary depending on the type of room (i.e standard room vs. family suite). If you are looking to book a standard room, the price is for two adults and two children. If there are more than two adults in a room (i.e. 3 adults, 1 child), the 3rd adult pays $25.00 per night. There are no additional charges for children.  If you are looking to book a suite, which sleeps 6, I believe you do not pay for the additional adult. I just booked the Cars Suite at the Art of Animation Resort and I have 3 adults and 3 children and I am not paying the additional adult charge. When you make your reservations, you will be asked the names and ages of your party. If there are any additional charges, you will be advised upon making the reservation. You also call Guest Services at (407) 939-7429 once you make your reservation to confirm the charges.

If I can assist you with anything else to make this first visit more memorable, please do not hesitate to ask!
