We are planning our first trip to WDW for August 15-22. We have two little boys ages 6 and 3. Any suggestions on what order to visit the parks? We have the 6 day base tickets with the water park and more option. Thanks!

    Hi Cassondra!

It sounds like you are planning a great trip! Hopefully I can help you out with some details!!

Personally, I think every Walt Disney World trip just HAS to begin at the Magic Kingdom - especially when you have young kids with you!! I would definitely plan to spend your first day there!

After my Magic Kingdom day, I usually want to try and rest my feet a bit before tackling Epcot - so this is a great time to split a day between a theme park and water park: Hollywood Studios & Blizzard Beach, maybe? Or perhaps Animal Kingdom and Typhoon Lagoon? The combination is up to you!

The next day, I'd put on my walking shoes and head over to Epcot! Spend a morning in Future World and then head to "around the world" in the afternoon. Be sure to sample the cuisine and delicacies as you roam from country to country!

Day 4 might call for some more Water Park fun, followed by shopping at Downtown Disney and a visit to DisneyQuest? Or if you're up for more park touring perhaps a visit back to the Magic Kingdom or other park at night.

And then its time to tackle your last theme park! Have fun touring a park you haven't been to before!

Your last days are great time to visit any of your favorites at the parks or catch up on something you missed! These last days are usually when we slow down a bit and really soak up the atmosphere and details of the parks!

    Hope this helps!
