I am planning a first trip an I am having difficulty knowing what I need to do and see and when. Is there a good planning guide for 1st time visitors or even a paid service that Disney offers?

    Hi, Paula!
I'm so excited you are planning your first trip to Walt Disney World Resort! The Disney Parks Moms Panel is here to help.

First, I recommend checking out this First Time Visit guide that was put together by Disney Parks. When I get started planning a trip, I start with the Special Offers page to see if there are any deals that fit my travel schedule. Sometimes I end up booking a trip early and keep an eye on that page to see if any deals pop up. You can call the hotel reservation phone line to see if you can take advantage of new deals.

180 days before your first day at Disney World, I recommend you book your restaurant reservations. If you are staying at a Disney World Resort hotel, you can book your first day and the following (up to ten) days. If you stay off property, you can book the restaurants 180 days before each day of your trip.

Take time looking at attractions and shows with your travel party to discuss priorities and must-do experiences. That will help you plan out which parks are a priority over others.

The next step is to make sure your My Disney Experience account is set up for yourself and your travel parties. That way, you can book FastPass+ reservations. You can book it 60 days in advance if you stay at a Disney Resort hotel or 30 days if you stay off property.

I hope that gets you started! Feel free to ask me more questions. I'm so happy to help you get your first visit completely put together!
