Planning our first trip to Disney World in Sept. I've heard that they decorate the parks for Halloween, but was wondering how far they go (Are characters dressed for Halloween or lots of orange?) I love photography and want to capture simple Disney w/kids.

    Hi there Monica,

The parks will be decorated for Halloween by the time you arrive.  In Magic Kingdom Park, there will be pumpkins, autumn leave wreaths, and seasonal window displays.  The characters, however will be in their traditional costumes during the daytime.  They save their Halloween costumes for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party which is a ticketed even that takes place after regular park hours on select nights throughout the Halloween season.

Even with the Halloween and Fall decorations present, you will still be able to capture those more simple, traditional Disney photographs you so desire and maybe even a few seasonal shots as a bonus!

    Best Wishes,
