We are planning our first trip to Disney World this August. We are planning to stay at a moderate resort. Trying to decide between POR and POFQ. Is the main difference the size? Was also considering Coronado but is it really far from everything?

Hi Samantha - Port Orleans Riverside and Port Orlean French Quarter are different sizes, and have different themes, but do share some of the same amenities.  I'd recommend that you take a look at the different themes and decide which you'd prefer.  You can walk between the two resorts, and enjoy both pools, both food courts, and the full-service restaurant.

Coronado Springs is a wonderful resort with the best rooms of any of the moderate resorts (in my opinion).  However, it is a rather large resort and can take a while to get to the different sections of the resort.  It is still my favorite moderate resort, however.

Good luck, and have a great first vacation!
